Yummy mummy changing bag and a custom order

So here it is.....my baby changing bag which I made for a friend. I finished it late on Monday evening/early Tuesday morning. I kept my fingers crossed for some decent photography weather, but it was all a bit grey and miserable so please forgive the quality of the pictures.
I finally managed to get the piped front pocket on straight (-ish!)
One of my neatest zipper pockets so far.
All finished!
Matching ribbon & clasp to make sure she can find her keys.
....and a surprise bottom!
One of my Facebook fans called it a 'yummy mummy bag'. Maybe I'll add a new category to my shop - what do you think?

I seem to have spent the last few weeks waiting for Mr Postie to deliver fabric or other items. Finally my flexi-frames arrived after a two week wait! I was asked to make a smart phone case as part of a larger custom order. I hadn't made one before so I needed to do a bit of research. But I wasn't so sure about all the ones i came across - they seemed to have zippers or fiddly buttons. I figured something easy and quick to open was needed - hence the flexi-frames.
My yummy mummy bag was handed over to Jo on her last day at work and my custom order is finished and ready to post.
Phone case and matching make-up bag.
The completed order.
Just time left to head over to handmade Monday to see what everyone else has been up to.

  1. The bag is so pretty, and I reckon having a yummy mummy section is a great idea - bet lots of people search for that on the web. Sounds like you're busy, which is great. Have a fab week,

  4. The finished changing bag is completely fabulous! I wish I'd had something as lovely as that when my daughter was a baby....sadly I just had the boring freebie one that came with joining Boots parenting club!
The quick access smart phone case is a great idea- don't want to miss a call fiddling with fastenings!

  15. Very lovely bag. Very interesting how the different lighting in the photos makes the bag seem to change colour. It could be a yummy mummy magic bag :-)
