This was, kind of, where it all started. Whilst googling for inspiration i came across lots of images of fabulous handmade weekender bags from this pattern from Amy Butler. This was the inspiration back in November 2010. It's now July 2011 and i've only just got around to making one! Glad this wasn't my first bag - it's not easy.
I'd not really used a sewing machine very much before i started making bags (apart from my wedding dress - but that's another story.), so if you're new to all this like me then i strongly recommend getting a copy of The Bag Making Bible by Lisa Lam.
