Just about made it in time for another Handmade Monday - phew! It's been a bit of a mad week.
First of all there's the work on my new logo .... which is hopefully going to be for my new website - woo hoo! But it's still early days, and my logo is very much a work in progress. I do sometimes think that HandbagsbyHelen is a bit of long name - but I've used it consistently across facebook, forums etc. So I'm reluctant to change it. It does however seem to be a little restrictive at times!
Have still got to unpack from last weeks Eccleshall Street Market. Great event and a fab day out and it was lovely to see some familiar faces. Although I wasn't sure I wanted to be pitched right next to the Freddie Mercury - erm - look-a-like act.....
There's a great crafting community around the local area. So if you happen to be passing or live nearby then pop in and take a look at Angela Smith's jewellery. Or feed your fabric obsession by a trip to Polyanna Patchwork.

Oh no all that fabric and to dangle in front of a fabricholic just not cricket, lol. The weather at your event looks lovely and sounds like you had a good time
ReplyDeleteYour bags all look fantastic displayed together like that.
ReplyDeleteYour stall looks lovely, I'm glad the weather was kind!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you had a good time at the market, I know what you mean about unpacking - my stuff from today's fair hasn't even made it out of the car yet!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your new logo, I don't think HandbagsbyHelen is too long a name but I suppose it may be restrictive if you suddenly changed direction x
You've been busy! Your stall looks fab.
ReplyDeletePollyanna's Patchwork looks lovely - all very tempting. Glad you enjoyed the street market - no pic of the Freddie Mercury look-a=-like? Look forward to seeing your new logo and hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteYou can just about see Freddie in the street photo - he's the guy in the miniskirt and blue vest!
DeleteYour stall looks fabulous!I love all the bags, they look so tempting!
ReplyDeleteThe stall looks lovely - names are so hard at times aren't they?
ReplyDeleteOh my! Pollyanna Patchwork looks like my kind of heaven! Names can be difficult and once you have chosen it your stuck with it but maybe you could abbreviate it in instances where the full name is too long?
ReplyDeleteOh that fabric looks divine! And your stall looks pretty fabulous too - well done with the weather! look froward to seeing the new logo. x
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you had a great time at your market. Maybe you could have given the Freddie act one of your bags to carry around as advertising :-)
ReplyDeleteNow why didn't I think of that!
DeleteAbsolutely nothing wrong with the name - it does what it says on the tin! I know what you mean however as I have evolved and the name I use accross the board may well be better if I changed it but then I worry I will be starting from scratch again.
ReplyDeleteBig sigh about the weather. But a hooray for your bags! I think that your name is a good web name. All the bags on your stall look fab.
ReplyDeleteyour stall looks great - so many lovely bags!
ReplyDeleteit would be great to see your jubilee bag in different colours, it is such a pretty design, and popular too i'm sure! x
You've inspired me to make a start - lilac and green in progress!
DeleteHi, I found your blog through Handmade Monday links. I really love your bags, the Lilac and green floral patchwork bag is adorable. And your jubilee messenger bag is wonderful, I'm sure a green and lavender version would be a great addition for your shop.
ReplyDeleteThanks Raphaele. I made a start last night, so hopefully I'll get around to listing it next week.
DeleteYour stall looks lovely, lots a beautiful bags. I'd have certainly been drawn to it. I really like your name. I don't think it's too long, it's only three words and I think it has a lovely ring to it. Have a lovely week. Ali x
