Fabric fetish I: Kate Spain Terrain

This post was called (I) because I suspect it's the first of many posts along a similar vein! Anyway, this weeks Handmade Monday is to celebrate the arrival of my Kate Spain quilting kit which has arrived from the US. For those of you who aren't quite as geeky as me about fabric (go on, I know there's plenty of you out there that are), Kate is based in the US and designs the most beautiful fabric (as well as having two of the most adorable cats - check out her blog to see for yourself!).

Problem was, when i finally decided to indulge myself I really couldn't decide which ones to buy. So, instead of buying just two or three I went for a quilting set with a fuller range of fabrics ready to make into a quilt. ABOVE ALL FABRIC

Never made a quilt before, but I'm sure I can find a use for one. In the meantime I get to see some samples of each whilst I decide which one I'll use to make my next bag - this one will definitely be for me this time.....
