Some steps forward....

Am trying to diversify the bags that i make so last weekend i started on a patchwork bag which i've not made before. Was making good progress but then realised i needed a zip (what good is a bag if it doesn't have plenty of pockets to play with!). Am ashamed to say i had to resort to Hobbycraft! We have a couple of  fab independent shops in Stafford but work just gets in the way during the week. I'd much rather visit the CRAFT CAVE - which stocks just about all the haberdashery you could want at half the price of Hobbycraft - but i was too impatient to wait until the weekend. So an evening trip to Hobbycraft instead! Must be better organised next time.


Still haven't quite finished the bag yet but thought i'd share the fabric i bought to make it...
